We have tackled many heavy themes in past issues of Finite Foto, but occasionally we like to pick a presumably lighter topic. For this month’s issue we settled on “Sports & Rec”. When discussing this theme just before launch, someone mentioned what a great play on words “Sports & Wreck” would be, but alas launch was upon us in just a few days, so the original theme will have to suffice. Next time, all puns will be considered.

For this issue Jennifer Schlesinger-Hanson interviews Amy Silverman, Photo Editor of Outside Magazine and features The Beach Goers by Liz Obert. Antone Dolezal introduces us to the witty Sol Neelman and Melanie McWhorter interviews Adam Smith and Francesca Yorke on their vastly different approaches to documenting ultimate fighting.
